Online postgraduate degrees for working professionals

The University of Liverpool’s online degrees have the same status and standing as equivalent degrees awarded to graduates who study on-campus. This applies to all the University’s online postgraduate degree programmes.

The University’s status as a UK degree-awarding institution dates back to 1903 when it was first granted a Royal Charter.

The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) – the organisation that monitors and advises on quality and standards in UK higher education – confirmed in its ‘Higher Education Review: University of Liverpool, November 2015’, published in February 2016, that the University of Liverpool meets all UK expectations on standards and quality.

Professional accreditation

Management school accreditation – AACSB

The University of Liverpool is an accredited member of AACSB International – The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Only 5% of business schools worldwide have been granted AACSB Accreditation.*

Management programme accreditation

In addition to the University of Liverpool Management School’s AACSB Accreditation, two programmes have specific accreditation:*

  • The Liverpool Online MBA’s five core modules have been evaluated and certified by the EFMD Online Course Certification System (EOCCS). It is the first fully online MBA programme with courses certified by EOCCS. By mid-2017, only 10 institutions worldwide had achieved the certification.
  • Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) Accreditation for the Online MSc in Operations and Supply Chain Management. CIPS accreditation is a recognised professional credential. Upon graduating students are automatically eligible to apply to join a network of 115,000 procurement and supply professionals from around the world who benefit from CIPS membership.*

Health programme accreditation

The University of Liverpool's online Master of Public Health programme is accredited by APHEA, the Agency for Public Health Education Accreditation.*
