UCFB WembleyUCFB Wembley is situated in and around the iconic Wembley Stadium, with many of our state-of-the-art classroom facilities overlooking the famous turf, providing an inspirational setting for your studies. What could be more motivating for a future career in the football, sport and events industries than walking up Wembley Way every day to the home of English football? Our UCFB Wembley campus has facilities that reflect the excellence of the stadium with lecture theatres, seminar rooms, quiet study areas, library and media suites, to name a few.
UCFB Etihad Campus
UCFB Etihad Campus will allow students to live, learn and work at the heart of one of Europe’s leading sporting facilities. Not only will you ready yourself for a future in the football and sport industries by studying in view of the Etihad Stadium pitch, but you’ll also have access to best-in-class facilities used by professional athletes such as the Manchester Regional Arena athletics centre and National Squash Centre at the Etihad Campus, and the Belle Vue Sports Village and National Basketball Performance Centre just a short ride from the campus.
Both campuses feature libraries with a wide range of text books available to aid your studies. State-of-the-art computer suites featuring Macs are also available, allowing students access to the best technology and equipment available on a daily basis.
The Students’ Union’s role is to support and represent UCFB students and make their experience as exciting and rewarding as possible.
The SU is also responsible for student involvement; ranging from coordinating ambassadors and aiding communication with UCFB management, to planning events and sustaining sports teams, clubs and societies. Each member of the SU has been democratically elected for their posts and as a result take great pride in their roles at UCFB.
The SU is responsible for organising the incredible annual Freshers’ Week at the start of each academic year. The week long party is a great opportunity for new students to meet and start lasting friendships, and has included live music from household names, trips to a football matches and fun games around the centres of London and Manchester – depending on your campus – to get to the know the area.
If it’s competitive action you’re after, the UCFB Athletic Union enables students to take part in a number of different sports during their time here. Competitive and recreational activities are available, as well as the chance to organise events and watch as a spectator. UCFB enter teams and individuals into the competitive British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) leagues and tournaments for a range of sports. Teams across our two campuses include male and female football, cricket, darts and futsal.
Throughout your time at UCFB there are also many opportunities to set up new sports teams and write reports on crucial matches throughout the year.
