This course will prepare you for a successful management career in the international hospitality, events and tourism industry. You will be introduced to key concepts, including the psychology of tourism behaviour, how to create a marketing plan, hospitality operations and strategic financial management. [+]

Available start dates September 2017 January 2018 September 2018 Teaching location Headington Campus, Gipsy Lane Course length Full time: Full-time: MSc: 12 months or 24 months in sandwich mode Part time: Part-time: MSc: 24 months for UK and EU students (teaching normally structured to provide one day or two half days each week in the semester) This course will prepare you for a successful management career in the international hospitality, events and tourism industry. You will be introduced to key concepts, including the psychology of tourism behaviour, how to create a marketing plan, hospitality operations and strategic financial management. You don’t need to have previously studied hospitality, events or tourism management and prior work experience is not required. After completing the second semester you will have the option to undertake a one-year paid work placement as part of the course.
