Accredited by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), the course focuses on productive architecture, emphasising ‘thinking and making’ within particular places and contexts. This course aims to develop global architects adept to work within both local and international contexts. You will benefit from: a lively, multidisciplinary teaching and learning environment exemption from the Part 2 examinations for the RIBA an enthusiastic staff team supported by reputed practitioners with eminent visiting professors brand new teaching, CAD and studio spaces in a city centre location opportunities for live projects and development of individual architectural specialisation site visits and field trips, including an international study trip (included in your fees) a commitment to sustainability underlying the curriculum. Designed in consultation with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and employers, the course develops skills and attitudes with regard to construction, culture and business environment. It encourages social and cultural awareness and builds on responsiveness and coping strategies necessary in the global construction market. You will develop: a systematic understanding of, and competence in, the technological and managerial processes associated with construction management in national and international environments your knowledge of health and safety, sustainability, ethics and social responsibility within the construction industry.
