Newcastle Business School is run by a team of dedicated staff including teaching staff, administrators and researchers plus part-time and adjunct lecturers.
Newcastle Business School delivers first-class teaching in a world class environment, as 2007 saw the opening of our brand new £70 million iconic state-of-the-art development in the heart of Newcastle City Centre. Known as 'City Campus East', this futuristic development comprises 24,000 square metres of purpose designed academic accommodation at the cutting edge of design and technology.
The new world-class centre for learning will further develop the reputation and quality of our programmes and services and offer students, staff and businesses alike the chance to access state-of-the-art facilities.
Labelled as, "one of the most exciting new estate developments in the sector" by the Times Higher Education Supplement, the stunning new City Campus East has received high acclaim, having been named as the North East Landmark of The Year 2007. The awards highlight regional building excellence and reward developments that highlight the best in concept design and construction.
As well as the innovative interior, the exterior of the buildings also plays a major part in the new landmark status as they are illuminated each night, providing a stunning addition to the city's skyline.
Professor Paul Croney is the current Dean of Newcastle Business School, a position he was appointed to in 2003. He is responsible for the leadership and general management of a £21 million business school with 200 staff and 6000 students.
