Tiffin University

Introduction

Founded in 1888, Tiffin University is proud to offer a personal and practical education for motivated, professionally focused students who want real-world experiences and results.

Tiffin is a private, coeducational university located in Tiffin, Ohio, on a growing campus that offers students a safe, friendly place to pursue their dreams.

Students have access to some of the best undergraduate and graduate programs and can decide whether to pursue their degree on campus, online, or enjoy a little bit of both. Some of our most popular programs, many of which are nationally recognized, include homeland security/terrorism; sports and recreation management; communication; and business management, to name a few.

Tiffin University also is known for creating innovative partnerships in nearly everything we do: from helping our students gain access to competitive internships to connecting them to professionals in the real world as they enter the job market.

Tiffin University’s classes are taught by faculty, never graduate assistants. Our professors are experts in their fields and bring years of practical experience to the classroom. They take the time to know each student’s name. Many of our faculty have longstanding and deep relationships to industry that they share with students through internships, mentoring and professional development. They place an extremely high value on networking, and developing those connections from inside the classroom.

Tiffin University’s academic programs are divided among three schools: The School of Arts & Sciences, The School of Business, and The School of Criminal Justice & Social Sciences. Within each of these schools, you’ll have the opportunity to choose from a range of specializations and majors. TU provides you with a personal and practical education. If you’re a motivated student, you’ll fit right in at TU. And our goal is to provide you with real-world experiences, leading to real-world results.

Tiffin University grants the following degrees: Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Criminal Justice, Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Criminal Justice, and Master of Humanities.

Tiffin University is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs, and our education partnership is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education. Only 25% of all business programs in the United States offer the prestigious Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs accreditation. In addition, TU’s MBA programis accredited by the European Council for Business Education.
