About

Georgetown University's School of Continuing Studies (SCS) offers graduate programs in professional and liberal studies, more than 30 professional certificate programs, custom and corporate training and education, summer school and special programs, and the University’s only part-time bachelor’s program.

By pairing seasoned scholars and practitioners with innovative educational programming, SCS prepares you with the skills needed to succeed in today’s evolving business landscape.

As a student at SCS, you’ll join a collaborative and diverse academic community consisting of:

  • Nearly 300 military students
  • 45 percent women and men of color
  • Students from more than 45 industries
  • More than 300 international students representing 75 nationalities
  • Students between 20 and 88 years of age

Inside the classroom, you'll learn from industry leaders, engage with renowned scholars, and collaborate with peers from across the country and around the world. Learn Without Limits

Our state-of-the-art downtown D.C. campus features more than 95,000 square feet of classroom, office, and meeting space with integrated technology. The facilities include 30 classrooms, 14 group study rooms, a 125-person auditorium, digital media lab and broadcast studio, interfaith chapel, library, café, and multiple lounge spaces.

A cardinal component of SCS’s strategic vision is to harness strong partnerships and relationships with industry experts and organizations from the local community. Our downtown neighborhood is home to hundreds of companies and organizations representing a wide breadth of industries and sectors, including public relations firms; journalism, communications, and media organizations; sports industry companies; human resources agencies; government agencies; nonprofit organizations; and many more.
