UCE

It is UCE's ambition to develop values of education and culture, knowledge and awareness. UCEU offers specialised, full university education with attractive, closely specified accredited study programmes. They are focused on International Relations (Bachelor, Master) and Environmental Management (Bachelor, Master, PhD.). UCE in operating and providing university education is under the auspices of the non-profit organisation the University of Central Europe in Skalica, which attained government consent to act as a private university called the University of Central Europe in Skalica.

UCE attained the prestigious quality certification in accordance with the criteria of the international standard EN ISO 9001:2008.

UCE currently operates at two locations: Skalica and Košice. In Skalica it offers full university education. In Košice, UCE NPO has opened Educational and Consulting Site.

MISSION AND VISION

The University of Central Europe in Skalica is developing education and awareness based on creative scientific research in International Relations at the international, European and regional level, taking into consideration protection and creation of the environment. In this way, UCE creates a foundation for ensuring and improving the quality of the education process and its activities with the aim of developing and supporting the talent and excellence of its subjects.

The University of Central Europe in Skalica brings up university specialists with such observations, knowledge, skills and competencies that enable them to be successful on the labour market in Slovakia and also in the competitive environment abroad.

Graduate profile

The graduates of the 2nd degree of master’s studies have professional abilities and skills required for work in international organisations, for work in central bodies of state administration and local government, namely in the field of European finances as well as in the area of international relations. They are also qualified to work in humanitarian missions and in a multi-cultural environment. Their competitive advantage is the ability to communicate verbally and in writing on the required level in two foreign languages. They are able to analyse problems and propose solutions.
