Accomodation

MUS has its own dormitories which are located 300 meters from the main building of the University. KORAB and PASSAT are two, ten-storied buildings which can guarantee accommodation for around 900 students. Both have been recently renovated and offer double and triple en-suite rooms which, grouped into two or three, share one self-contained bathroom. Each room is equipped with standard furniture (bed, cupboard, desk, chairs) as well as with basic equipment like duvet, pillow and sheets.

There are no kitchen facilities in the rooms but there is a common kitchen on each floor, equipped with an electric cook, drain board, sink, table, and a fridge. All students are required to have their own kitchen dishes and pans. There is also a laundry room in the building as well as a TV room with cable TV access, a study room, a deposit room and leisure rooms for table tennis, aerobics or dance. Free Wi-Fi access is available in each room. The total monthly rent in student’s dormitory amounts to PLN 350 (around EUR 90). Dorms are open during the whole academic year except summer holidays.

The campus buildings are situated in the vicinity of beautiful Żeromski Park, not far from Plac Rodła, the city’s major transport junction with numerous bus and tramway stops. Moreover, the campus is just 5 minutes away from the city centre with malls, cinemas, theatres, restaurants as well as the historic old town.

Excellence in teaching

Our syllabi are adjusted to contemporary conditions of fleet operation owing to modern teaching materials, including Nawigator XXI - a perfectly equipped teaching and research vessel, laboratories and specialist workrooms, simulators, engines, steering cockpits, digital maps, and modern computer rooms.
