The programme is aimed at producing specialists who exhibit high levels of language proficiency and skills in the application of the language based on the acquired theoretical, methodological and practical knowledge. Graduates are also acquainted with the fundamental modern theories, major contemporary trends and research areas in theoretical and applied linguistics, with special focus on the English language. Education goals

The aim of the programme is to train specialists of plant protection who are able to fulfil directional, managing, organizing, consulting, regulating and marketing tasks, based on their wide theoretical knowledge.

Such experts are able to detect the organisms, which are threatening plants (pathogens, pests, weeds) and they are acquainted with their biology and reproduction, and also with the effects and mechanism of pesticides concerning even the environment and humane hygiene. They can prevent the harms and damages caused by the above-mentioned organisms and they are applying the procedures of ecological and integrated plant protection in order to reduce the pesticide-load of the environment. In their work they are always attentive to the safety of food, processors, consumers and the environment. Having a degree in higher education they are permitted to use restricted chemicals.... [-]

The program trains students to able to identify the complex issues inherent in Central Europe’s location in global challenges as well as to get acquainted with the world beyond Europe and tendencies of development of the third world. [+]

Study Objectives

The goal of our International Relations MA is to train highly qualified experts in the social sciences who are able to think about the place and role of Hungary and the Central European region in an international and global context and who are able to draw informed conclusions as to the theoretical and practical implications of international relations. Students are to acquire advanced language and negotiation skills as well as proficiency in analytical and synthesizing skills. Coupled with a broad knowledge of histories and current issues they are required to have a comprehensive understanding of the current dynamics of global political economy, legal frameworks and social processes. Based on the acquired knowledge and skills, they are able to make predictions and forecasts. The program trains students to able to identify the complex issues inherent in Central Europe’s location in global challenges as well as to get acquainted with the world beyond Europe and tendencies of development of the third world.
