The University of Sunderland (UK) was established in 1901 and has over 19,000 students worldwide. On 2nd March 2017, at the British consulate, the university announced the launch of its Hong Kong Campus – the University of Sunderland in Hong Kong.

Overseas study is no longer the privilege of exchange students or students studying abroad. The University of Sunderland in Hong Kong now offers 3-year bachelor’s (honours) degrees which include a half-year study in our UK campus, so that students who aspire to study abroad can broaden their horizons and gain valuable exposure to the British culture.

The University of Sunderland in Hong Kong is the first and the only UK university campus in Hong Kong. University of Sunderland (UK) has enjoyed a long and successful partnership with RDI, a leading university qualification provider, in the delivery of transnational undergraduate and postgraduate university education in Hong Kong since 2004. The University of Sunderland has also had a regional recruitment office in Hong Kong for almost 16 years. The recent acquisition of RDI, now the University of Sunderland in Hong Kong, is a key component in the University’s longer-term strategic ambitions for the Asian region.

The university now has 3 campuses – Hong Kong, London and Sunderland. The University provides a broad portfolio of diplomas, degrees and Master’s Degree in Business Administration programmes to people from all walks of life. It delivers both part-time and full-time undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Hong Kong at its Central campus – a stone’s throw away from the MTR station.
