Ostfalia University of Applied Science

Introduction

A state-of-the-art university of technology, health, law, social and business studies, Ostfalia is one of the largest universities of applied sciences in Lower Saxony. There are currently around nine thousand students enrolled at our university, a number that is set to grow in the next few years. This is the result of the effects of the Higher Education Reform Pact 2020 across Germany and the lowering of the age at which university entrance examinations can be taken. The latter measure will result in a double cohort of ‘A’ Level graduates in 2011 in Lower Saxony and the neighboring Federal States and consequently a rise in the number of undergraduate students in the coming years.

It has campuses at:

  • Salzgitter (SZ)
  • Wolfenbüttel (WF)
  • Wolfsburg (WOB)
  • Suderburg (UE)
This school offers programs in:
  • English
  • German
