HMKW School of Media, Communication and Business

The study at the HMKW opens exciting perspectives in the media sector. Whether design, journalism and communications, media and event management or media and business psychology, with offices in Berlin, Cologne and Frankfurt you study and practice. Under modern conditions

The private university is nationally recognized and accredited institutionally by the Science Council. All courses are internationally recognized and accredited by the FIBAA.

Our professors and all teachers bring their practical experience directly in the teaching, where a solid academic education is linked to innovative, practical work. They are actively supported on your way through the study and in the labor market.

The HMKW linked a sound academic training with work in various practical projects. For this purpose, we cooperate with many established institutions and economic institutions that complement the academic curriculum by very real issues and project tasks. For these networks, opportunities for career entry and career result.

The courses are targeted at the acquisition of theoretical understanding and of practically applicable skills. At the end of the course you will have a wide range of skills for your career in the creative sector, the media and the economy.

After six semesters (classical Bachelor courses) or eight semesters (dual, education integrating Bachelor courses) you will be proud of your performance and your success.

Master courses are taught in Berlin in English, in Cologne in German. You can study part or full time. The HMKW participates in the ERASMUS program and is committed to the exchange and cooperation with European and non-European students and universities.
