Introduction

ISAT is located in Nevers, a 2-hour drive south of Paris and close to the famous Nevers /Magny-Cours racing circuit. ISAT is a faculty of the Université de Bourgogne part of the top 800 of the Shanghai world ranking.

The Institute of Automotive and Transport Engineering (ISAT) is a unique state-run school committed to the comprehensive training of engineers, with a particular interest in the automotive sector. The main aim of ISAT is to cover the whole range of positions and skills related to the automotive and transport industries, with a strong expertise in mechanical - electrical & energy engineering from design to production: R &D, design & development, industrialization, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, etc.

ISAT engineering programs are accredited by the Commission des Titres d'Ingénieur and EUR-ACE labeled (European quality label for engineering degree programmes at Bachelor & Master level). Over 650 students, a total of 100 tenured teachers, researchers and industry professionals have chosen ISAT for its professional experience outside of academia offering an excellent blend of theory and applied sciences, along with an excellent professional network.

ISAT ensures that students emerge as competent professionals by providing practical knowledge and skills that are not only relevant to automotive technology but are directly applicable to the company objectives.

ISAT is committed to developing research within its "DRIVE" research department in vehicle engineering for the environment (composite materials, vibration & acoustics, energy, embedded electronics), as well as in its center for technology transfer SATT Grand Est.

ISAT offers dynamic surroundings for the full development of the ISAT community through rich cultural and student life. ISAT boasts many high-level sports facilities and a renowned gastronomy. Thanks to the size and location of Nevers, there is no shortage of affordable student housing.

POLYTECH ORLEANS

Polytech Orléans is part of the national Polytech network of university engineering schools. Being a member of this exclusive group means that Polytech'Orléans offers a superior program with a wide range of majors in cutting-edge fields of engineering, only one hour south of Paris, on a wooded campus.

Strong industrial competitiveness and local synergies between industry, research and training have led to the creation of a competitiveness hub in "Electrical Energy Science and Systems" and another one about sensors. Cosmetic Valley is very close to Orléans with famous companies in these fields.
