This pastoral studies online degree program is practical, transformative, international in scope, and open to students of all faiths. It prepares students to work in a variety of contexts, including parishes, schools, diocesan offices, secular workplaces, non-profits, or public sector work and the helping professions, such as healthcare and social work.

The Master of Arts in Museum Studies is the only program of its kind in the State of Louisiana. The program can be completed entirely online or on campus. Students matriculating in the program will undertake a rigorous course of learning in Museology, the branch of knowledge dedicated to the study of the theories, procedures, and managerial concepts of museums: institutions for the acquisition, preservation, study, and exhibition of works of artistic, historical or scientific value.

The Department of Genetics is one of six Basic Science departments at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC). The Genetics Department is located on the sixth floor of the Clinical Sciences Research Building, .a state-of-the-art research facility. The Department of Genetics offers a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Genetics and participates in the Masters of Biomedical Sciences program. The department has outstanding faculty, researchers, and community educators that can cut across disciplines to fulfill our mission to provide state of the art education, research, and community outreach, in the area of genetics.

The Biomedical Sciences Program at LSUHSC-NO provides students with an integrated curriculum and the opportunity to select a mentor and research project from a wide range of disciplines within seven basic science departments. Students participate in a two-year integrated curriculum and a series of two research rotations in different labs. At the completion of year 1, students select a mentor/department where they will complete electives as required by their department and conduct research for the thesis.

Our post-professional Master of Science in Architectural Research and Design degree program (formerly known as M.ARCH II.) is the most advanced research venue at Tulane School of Architecture. It is a selective design research degree that builds on the deep expertise of our faculty and the strategic commitment of the school and the university as a whole. It is intended for individuals with an accredited professional architecture degree interested in teaching and research as a career in the field of architecture.

As a social worker, you will have opportunities to work with individuals, families, groups, communities, and organizations. There will also be opportunities for research, engagement in policy work, and other related social work interests.

The Master of Science (MS) in Engineering opens up many pathways for working adults with general engineering backgrounds. Four possible concentrations—Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, or Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering—present higher-level specialization opportunities and offer a credential for advancing into a management role.

The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans offers PhD degrees. It is not necessary to receive the MS degree before entering the PhD program, and we encourage students to proceed directly from the BS to the PhD. Typically, the first year of the PhD program involves the student taking formal classes while rotating through a minimum of three laboratories. The purpose of the laboratory rotations is to give both the student and potential major professors a chance to evaluate one another. At the end of the first year, the student should choose a laboratory in which to complete his/her laboratory training.

The professional Master of Architecture degree program (M.Arch I) is accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) and is open to students with a baccalaureate degree in any field from an accredited college or university. The seven-semester program fulfills the professional degree requirements leading to architectural licensure and registration. Two distinct tracks accommodate students’ diverse undergraduate backgrounds.
