The development and growing use of Remote Piloted Aircraft Systems (SAPR) - commonly, drones - in many application and research areas requires extensive training. 400 hours of lessons and design laboratory 250 hours of training internships in companies in the sector or institutional bodies. The 1st level University Master - organized by the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" and by ENAC, the National Civil Aviation Authority with the participation of sector bodies and companies - trains drone designers, specialists in processes and based services on SAPR. Two scholarships are available to fully cover the course provided by Telespazio. Scholarships are awarded mainly on a meritocratic basis, based on the CVs received which will be assessed by a specific commission. Those enrolled who will obtain the Master degree and pass the practical skill test with ENAC examiner, will be contextually issued by a Training center authorized by ENAC and agreed with the Master the APR pilot certificate (Remote Piloted Aircraft).

The Master in Unmanned Aerial Systems is a highly specialized degree, unique in the Galician University System and one of the only two official drone Master's degrees offered in the national territory. Students may choose courses oriented to the operation of unmanned aerial systems, taught by the University of Santiago de Compostela (Higher Polytechnic School of Engineering of Lugo) or oriented to the development of unmanned aerial systems, taught by the University of Vigo ( School of Aeronautical and Space Engineering of Orense), also provides the basic knowledge to obtain the title of drone pilot and allows access to doctoral programs and the completion of doctoral thesis.
