Developed and led by renowned Actor Musician Jeremy Harrison, this vocational program builds on and extends the work developed on the College’s ground-breaking BA (Hons) Actor Musicianship program, drawing on our strong links to theatre-makers, directors, choreographers, writers, musical directors and performers involved in the development of this innovative area of theatre practice.

The MA Musical Theatre Creatives program at Leeds Conservatoire is designed to nurture the creative talents and skills of individuals interested in various aspects of musical theatre production beyond performance. The program emphasizes collaborative work among students from different disciplines within the musical theatre industry. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with performers, directors, choreographers, designers, composers, and other creative professionals to develop innovative and compelling musical theatre productions.

The MA Musical Theatre Company program at Leeds Conservatoire offers an intensive and immersive experience designed to develop performers' skills and knowledge in the field of musical theatre. Students receive rigorous training in acting, singing, and dancing, focusing specifically on the unique demands of musical theatre performance. Through individual coaching, ensemble work, and performance opportunities, students refine their technique, expression, and stage presence.

This degree is intended for students who hold a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theater or Vocal Performance degree from a NASM accredited institution and have the vocal, dramatic and academic potential to succeed in the field. The curriculum is designed to develop and refine the performance skills of our students by integrating music scholarship, pedagogy, and performance experience to prepare students for careers in performance and/or further academic scholarship.
