This two-year M.A. program will grant you the basic tools for the scientific study of the Hebrew Bible. The program will be taught entirely in English by leading experts.

In this Research Master's Program you will study how religion is embedded in present-day and in historical cultural contexts. You will explore the impact of local and global socio-economic and political developments on religion, and how religion contributes to such developments. A staff member whose research interests in religion matches yours best, will act as your supervisor throughout the Program.

With a Masters in Jewish-Christian Studies from Seton Hall University, Jewish studies students are prepared for advanced roles in academia, interfaith dialogue, and community leadership. This Jewish studies program fosters a deep understanding of the historical, theological, and ethical dimensions of Jewish-Christian relations, equipping graduates to contribute significantly to Jewish-Christian groups and broader interreligious and multicultural initiatives.

The 60-hour Master of Arts in Christian Ministry (MACM) degree is designed to equip persons for competent leadership in some form of specialized ministry in congregations and other settings. The MACM degree at George W. Truett Theological Seminary provides a basic foundation of study in biblical and theological disciplines, while also preparing students for ministry within and alongside the church. The degree consists of a minimum of 60 hours and normally requires at least two years of full-time study to complete.

This area encompasses a research dissertation on a theme from the Old Testament (OT) or New Testament (NT) or a combination of themes from the OT and NT. The master’s program is by nature an advanced study in either the OT or NT building on the knowledge within the fields already obtained on the Honours level. The program is a dissertation written on a theme from the Old or New Testament.

This program offers the student with a four-year BDiv, a BThHons or equivalent qualification, the opportunity of theological specialisation and research at master's level.

The Master of Arts (Thesis) (MA (Thesis))

The MA in Theology, Bible, and the Arts offers a range of modules that allow you to study both historical and contemporary theological ideas, the content, significance, and legacy of the Bible, and the diverse artistic responses to religious subjects and themes that have left their mark on the world. You will also be asked to explore one topic in greater detail through your dissertation.

This is a 2-year program designed to prepare students for a more effective ministry through a foundational biblical education. At the end of the course of study, a student should be able to: Demonstrate competence in the fields of biblical and theological studies; Display a broad understanding of biblical language; Exhibit competence in the exegesis and exposition of the Old and New Testaments and relate that competence to African realities; Acquire necessary skills for further scholarly studies in the field of Old or New Testament and Demonstrate Christian maturity expressed in commitment to Christ, to His Body and interpersonal sensitivity in character and lifestyle displayed in communal relationships.

The goal of the Master of Divinity degree is to provide students with a biblical and theological foundation that can equip them to serve in any context of vocational ministry.
