The Postgraduate Chemistry Study Program was opened in 1981. This program was acknowledged by the Decree of the Director-General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia in 1993. The master's and doctoral programs in the Department of Chemistry have been accredited by BAN (National Accreditation Board). Starting in 2016, the management of the master's and doctoral programs in Chemistry was separated.
