This program aims to form "genome data scientists", that is, graduates that will have an adequate knowledge about the molecular basis of biological systems; the structure and function of biological molecules and how they participate in cellular processes; the technologies and platforms for the analysis of genomes; the tools for bioinformatics and genomic analysis; and the statistical and computational methodologies for the analysis of biomolecular data.

The International Bologna Master in Bioinformatics addresses these questions and aims to generate knowledge and expertise in specific fields of Biology, Biotechnology, and Medicine, where it is fundamental to refer to and retrieve bio-molecular data stored in Biomedical Databases.

Master's degree in Medical Bioinformatics. The Master’s degree in Medical Bioinformatics prepares graduates for a career at the management and supervisory level in the design, development, maintenance, and management of information systems in medicine, biology, and health systems.

The Molecular Biotechnology and Bioinformatics master's degree aims to provide students with advanced skills in molecular biotechnology, computational biology, and bioinformatics, with a strong focus on the most advanced tools and approaches for the analysis of genomes, proteomes, and metabolomes. The main goal of the MB&B Master's degree is to give the students the broad theoretical and practical background needed to apply their knowledge to various biological/biotechnology problems.
