The Interuniversity Program in Food Technology (IUPFOOD) focuses on two technological dimensions of prime and crucial importance in food processing and preservation; the transformation (processing) of raw materials into products suited for human consumption; the role of postharvest and food preservation unit operations in delivering safe and nutritious foods to the end consumer. These two concerns are directly translated into the focus points of the IUPFOOD programme. The InterUniversity Programme in Food Technology (IUPFOOD) is jointly organized by KU Leuven and Ghent University (UGent). The Master of Water Resources Engineering addresses water-related issues in developed and developing countries, with a focus on problems in the latter. The general program objective is to educate professionals and scientists who contribute effectively to the development and management of water resources on both a local and global scale.
