The Master of Science in aquatic ecology is a program at the advanced level, equivalent to 120 higher education credits. The program is international, multidisciplinary, and oriented towards current topics in aquatic microbiology, marine ecology, and environmental policies

The curriculum for the MScAgric degree consists of a dissertation of 180 credits.

The course Technologies for the Ecological Transition in Agriculture provides knowledge and skills in the different areas of agricultural sciences to train specialists capable of guiding and supporting the ecological transition of the production and management processes of agricultural companies. The teaching regulations specify the organizational aspects of the Course of Study, according to the corresponding regulations, respecting the freedom of teaching and the rights and duties of teachers and students.

Agroecology is gaining increased attention today for its contributions to farm and food systems, to social innovation, and to research. Agroecology supports the development of resilient food ecosystems. It does so by drawing on science, social studies, and ecological principles to foster synergies between plants, animals, humans and the wider environment.

Do you want to link knowledge with action to make a difference? The first semester (30 cr.) is a transdisciplinary approach to ecological, economic and social issues in farming and food systems. The focus is on agroecosystems, on holistic methodology for their study, evaluation and improvement, attitudes, ethics and values, and on individual and group-based learning. Learning is based on exploring real-life farm and food systems cases.
