    Accountancy is a subdivision of mathematical science and is a
    study of communicating financial data about an organization to managers, shareholders, and any other concerned party. Masters in Accountancy is a higher graduate level business degree designed on a curriculum that prepares persons to work in the field of accounting in various roles like an auditor for an accounting firm or managerial positions in corporate accounting. Graduates are
    prepared to sit for accountancy exams that are a common requirement for most advanced accounting jobs.

    Masters in Accountancy programs run for between one and two years of study and it contains 10 to 12 three-semester credit courses. The curriculum may feature every graduate accounting courses or a mixture of graduate accounting courses, tax, graduate management, graduate business electives, and leadership. In addition to preparing students for CPA exams, the program is
    also designed to provide a vast knowledge of business applications and accounting principles.

    Individuals with strong attention to detail and great
    interest in working with figures can fit perfectly in this career field. An accounting undergraduate degree is not a requirement to study for Masters in Accountancy, but if one's degree is not business related, he/she may need to complete some prerequisites before starting.
