Dorset has two universities and three separate colleges. There is evidence of periodic population ever since 8000 BC and first permanent settlers arrived around 3000 BC, so the city has a long history.

Studies in animation cover artistic techniques such as drawing, design principles, and modeling as well as current technology for computer imaging and motion. Students can use an animation degree to pursue a career in video game design, television, film, and other animation genres.
