Zhejiang University of Science and Technology (ZUST) is a multi-disciplinary full-time regular university under the direct guidance of the Zhejiang Provincial Government, which focuses on engineering with additional disciplines in arts, management, science, and economics.
Introduction
Zhejiang University of Science and Technology (ZUST) is a multi-disciplinary full-time regular university under the direct guidance of the Zhejiang Provincial Government, which focuses on engineering with additional disciplines in arts, management, science, and economics. Founded in 1980, it was initially known as Hangzhou Industrial School Attached to Zhejiang University. Combining the successful school-running experience of German Universities of Applied Sciences(FH) with Chinese Characteristics, ZUST explores cultivating high-quality internationalized talents with innovative spirits and applied skills.
Zhejiang University of Science and Technology has two campuses. Xiaoheshan Campus is situated in the historical and cultural city—of Hangzhou, with a planned land area of 112.67 hectares and a built-up area of 450,000 square meters. Anji campus, situated in Anji county which won the United Nation Habitat Scroll of Honor Award, has a land area of 33.33 hectares and a built-up area of 165,000 square meters.

Zhejiang University of Science and Technology (ZUST) is a multi-disciplinary university specializing in engineering, and incorporating disciplines in science, arts, economics, management, education, etc.
ZUST has two campuses.
Xiaoheshan Campus is located in the historical and cultural city of Hangzhou, the capital city of Zhejiang Province, which is one of the most prosperous provinces in China. Situated at the foot of Xiaohe Mountain, it has a tranquil lake on its campus and is surrounded by hills.

Anji Campus is located in Anji County, which has won the United Nations Habitat Scroll of Honor Award.
At present, ZUST is running 16 English-taught undergraduate programs and 12 English-taught postgraduate programs. Moreover, ZUST provides a master’s degree program in International Chinese Language Education and a bachelor’s degree program in Business Chinese for Chinese language beginners. With the further development of international cooperation and the establishment of distinctive undergraduate and postgraduate majors, the number of international students is increasing significantly.

Qualifications Needed for Admission
- Applicant should be aged between 18 and 45
- The applicant should be in good health
- Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens. Foreign citizens of Chinese origin who are now applying to study in China as international students must have held a valid foreign passport for at least 4 years, and must have resided in a foreign country for at least 2 years in the past 4 years (as of April 30, 2023). (9 months of residence in a foreign country may count as a full year
- Applicant needs to have a bachelor's degree and provide the bachelor's degree certificate and undergraduate transcript. Graduating students should provide the pre-graduation certificate issued by the school they are studying in
- Good moral character and no criminal record; Willing to abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and the relevant rules and regulations of the school; Provide drug-free commitment
- Applicant should have the language ability to attend the relevant courses. Applicant applying for English-taught programs is required to provide IELTS ( score 6 or above), TOEFL (score 85 or above )or other English proficiency certificates or pass the Entrance English Test of Zhejiang University of Science and Technology(ZUST). Applicant applying for Chinese-taught programs is required to provide an HSK 5 certificate with a score of 180 or above.
