Master of Science in Engineering
1.5-year or 2- years graduate courses are offered in the area of:
- Aerospace Engineering (1.5-year)- with PEGASUS excellence diploma
Power Engineering (1.5-year) Nuclear Power Engineering (2-years) Robotics (2-years)
All programs provide students with advanced theory and engineering methods. Students learn about recent achievements in their fields of study as well as about methods and tools that prepare them for management positions in industry or research areas. The last semester of the program is dedicated to solving a research problem. The problem statement and solution are the elements of the M.Sc. thesis which is submitted at the end of the studies.
Nuclear Power Engineering
Graduates from Nuclear Power Engineering possess a vast knowledge of general mathematics, thermodynamics, mechanics of solids, mechanics of fluids, environment protection, thermal engineering, turbomachinery, conventional and renewable power technologies, and socioeconomics.
Graduates from this program can pursue their professional careers in research and development departments of companies dealing with power engineering, at universities and academic research centers, or at in-state administrative units such as energy regulatory bodies or technical inspection units. They are also prepared to undertake Ph.D. studies.
