Introduction
The 4-semester MSc Quantitative Finance is a full-time program taught in English at Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. The focus of the program is to build a solid knowledge base in finance with a special emphasis on understanding mathematical models and developing sufficient methological competence in computing, modern statistical data analysis and financial mathematics. Students acquire in-depth knowledge and skills in financial economics, microeconomics, mathematics, statistics and computing. Students also receive extensive training in the "R" programming language. The program focuses in particular on applications in asset management, finacial risk management and modern statistical data analysis.
