    The online master's degree programs offered by the WVU Reed College of Media attracts a variety of applicants, from seasoned professionals to those just starting their career in the marketing communications industry. While our program is offered entirely online, the total number of available seats for each entry term is limited to keep class sizes small and enable one-on-one interaction between students and instructors. Admission to the Integrated Marketing Communications, Data Marketing Communications and Digital Marketing Communications programs is competitive and depends on a variety of factors, including undergraduate academic performance, years of relevant experience, references and a personal statement.

The Online WVU Graduate Application for AdmissionDesignate your Admission Type and Intended Program as “Masters” and “Data Marketing Communications (4935),” "Digital Marketing Communications (4938)" or “Integrated Marketing Communications (4932).” The primary delivery location/method is ONLINE. You may declare an Area of Emphasis (optional for IMC) if you would like to specialize.
    2. $60.00 nonrefundable application fee (which can be waived by attending an information session).

TOEFL or IELTS Scores (international students only)West Virginia University requires international students to submit their TOEFL or IELTS scores directly to the central WVU Office of Admissions. Use destination code 5904 to have TOEFL scores sent. You may also use Pearson Test of Engligh (PTE) Academy or Duolingo English Test scores. Generally, applicants whose first language is not English must submit adequate TOEFL or IELTS results before an application can be considered for admission.

    7. Letters of Recommendation (Optional) There is not a designated area to submit these in the application. Please email our recruitment and retention manager, Dan Sadler, at [email protected] to submit up to three letters of recommendation.

    GRE or GMAT Scores are NOT required.
    NOTE: The GRE is listed on the application. If you do want to submit them, the destination code for the GRE is 5904 and the GMAT is C2S-FB-24. Students who have not taken the GRE can bypass the requirement and the enrollment specialist will waive that requirement. They may get an email stating that it is outstanding, but it will be waived.
