In between deep fjords and high mountains, you will find the student town of Volda. With its 4500 students and 350 staff/faculty members, Volda University College is one of the largest institutions of higher education between Bergen and Trondheim. Volda is known for its active student environment and the university college is also known for the top study programmes in media and journalism, as well as, long traditions for teacher training.
