Introduction
What is the purpose of this study program?
The goal of the program is to educate highly qualified professionals capable of comprehending, identifying, and employing modern engineering methods to scientifically analyze and assess diverse global, regional, and local environmental engineering issues. These professionals should be adept at evaluating environmental risks, gauging the severity of threats, and implementing control mechanisms. Furthermore, they are expected to apply the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired in addressing complex technological processes related to clean production, as well as in resolving challenges in environmental protection and management. The program emphasizes the importance of maintaining professional competence through lifelong learning.

What will students learn?
- To cognize and analyze the present and possible environmental situations by applying up-to-date engineering measures, to implement the qualified variety of their resolution modes, and to analyze and assess scientifically a wide scale of global, regional, and local environmental engineering problems.
- To perform the research and use information technologies to assess the obtained results, to estimate the reliability of environmental protection equipment and their application possibilities in real situations.
- Realize the technical, technological, and organizational solutions concerning engineering attitudes in various fields of environmental engineering.
- To determine and assess the level of environmental pollution and harm, to select environmental protection measures to decrease them, to plan and implement efficient clean production technologies, to evaluate them in respect of managerial attitude, promoting the conservation of natural resources in the environment.
- To apply the innovations of technology sciences introducing the principles of clean production, the ability to combine the skills of this application with basics of business and management.
