Introduction
The MSc in Agricultural Engineering provides training and qualification of graduates with a solid scientific and technical background to plan, design and manage agricultural and agroindustrial activities, ensuring the obtaining of goods and services in a sustainable, diversified and safe way for man and the environment.
This course also aims to impart autonomous learning and ability to respond to new issues arising from the evolution of knowledge and new demands of society.
The MSc in Agronomic Engineering acquires capacity and skills to:
- Elaborate and execute projects and innovative studies, develop business functions and design models in the agronomic and agroindustrial area;
- Technical-economic management of farms, consulting and scientific research in the various aspects of agricultural activity, both from a productive and environmental point of view;
- Continue studies at the 3rd cycle level (PhD)
Curricular structure
This course has compulsory curricular units and optional curricular units, allowing to follow different study plans to obtain specializations in different areas namely Vitiviniculture, Olive and Olive Oil, Hortofloricultura, Fruticultura, Agroindustries and Organic Agriculture. The student also has the possibility to build his / her curriculum, choosing the optional Curricular Units that best adapt to its objectives.
