In this degree, highly motivated and highly qualified students undertake an advanced study to produce a research-based dissertation which will help you to develop your research skills in a specialised area of knowledge and proceed further with your science research career.

Within this degree, you will have the choice of three specialisations’ to focus your research studies. They include:

• Applied Research
• Advanced Research
• Psychology Research

The Master of Science (Research) (Applied Research) gives you the tools and opportunities you need to further your career in your chosen science research field. The Applied Research major combines research and coursework to enhance your knowledge across a range of different science-based disciplines. Your studies within this specialisation will include a research project, research courses and elective courses to specialise your science research focus.
