Introduction
The interuniversity master's degree in Planning, Governance and Territorial Leadership aims to train, in a multidisciplinary way, professionals and researchers in the field of spatial planning, planning and management in its different scales of action.
If you follow the recommended elective course itinerary, you will be able to specialize in:
- Strategies for territorial governance and leadership
- Territorial planning (leadership skills)
This master's degree has been designed on the basis of the pre-existing interuniversity master's degree in Territorial Analysis and Management: Planning, Governance and Territorial Leadership, of which three editions were held.
The program allows the student:
- Acquire skills and knowledge to exercise leadership that allows facing territorial challenges and promoting sustainable development.
- Specialize in strategic territorial planning (local development projects, urban planning or mobility), as well as in the prospective analysis of scenarios.
- Training in GIS, digital cartography and spatial analysis techniques applied to fields such as landscape, territorial foresight, network analysis or geomarketing.
- Qualify for integration into public administrations and private companies. It also enables you to prepare to orient your future to research.

Graduates of this master's degree can work as technicians and experts in public administrations or the private sector (environmental and territorial consultancy) in fields related to planning (territorial, urban, sectoral and strategic), territorial management (social conflicts, landscapes, heritage resources, mobility, judicial expertise, geomarketing and foresight) and geographic information systems applied to territorial planning and management and territorial planning, governance and leadership from autonomy and self-employment.
