The Master of Science in Marketing provides you with a full understanding of the important processes involved in creating, communicating, and delivering value to customers while strengthening your ability to face and solve complex challenges in an increasingly globalized marketing environment.
The MSc in Marketing is a program that offers an analytical approach to Marketing, providing students with the technical and creative skills needed to understand how to satisfy customer needs from a strategic, managerial, and empirical perspective.
You will learn to use practical and theoretical tools for choosing markets, and anticipating and identifying consumers' needs in order to plan an innovative marketing management strategy adapted to the latest marketing trends and techniques. At the end of the program, you will be prepared for managing a company's marketing strategy, whether it is an SME, NGO, mass-market, or services company.
Practically focused and internationally oriented, this MSc includes the option to undertake a curricular internship and it allows students to choose their preferred elective courses according to their career plans.

The MSc in Marketing is aimed at recent university graduates and junior professionals with strong quantitative and analytical skills, with previous studies preferably in Economics, Statistics, Communication, and Business Administration. Other degrees are accepted only if the candidate has at least 2 years of marketing-related professional experience.
Every year the program welcomes students from all over the world, coming mainly from analytical or communication backgrounds, to study in Barcelona: a vibrant, dynamic, and international city. Students become part of an international and multicultural environment that provides the first step to working, communicate, and negotiate globally.
The MSc in Marketing consists of 4 core modules over 3 terms: Strategic Marketing Planning, Consumer Insights: Market Research, Brand Management, and Communication Management.
During the third term, students will be able to choose their elective courses. Students will also prepare and present their MSc thesis, supervised by a specialized faculty member throughout the year.
During the third term or at the end of the master students will do a curricular internship in companies. Career development sessions will be offered to aid students in finding the placement and preparing them for their professional future.

Elective courses will be carried out in case of reaching a minimum number of enrolled students. The final offer for each academic year may be adapted depending on the academic planning.
The Master of Science in Marketing also includes the possibility of participating in practical activities and activities for personal and professional growth such as:
- Brush-up Courses: preparatory crash courses on business and economy-related subjects which take place two weeks prior to the beginning of the program.
- Spanish Course: free of charge during the first term. 3 hours/week course at UPF's language school.
- Career Development Program: career sessions and workshops where students obtain specific training on how to improve their professional profile, approach potential employers, and develop professional soft skills.
- International mobility: The UPF Barcelona School of Management offers you the possibility of expanding your training and international vision through the International Mobility Programme. Extend your studies extracurricular, during the academic year following the completion of your Master's, at a top-level institution. Limited places.
- UPF-BSM Inside: is a group of interdisciplinary subjects (applied data, communication, creativity, innovation and project management, sustainability, and leadership among others) that, if you take this program, you can access at no additional cost. They are 100% online and you can take them throughout the academic year at your own pace, as they have been designed as self-study subjects.
