Students are encouraged to complete this degree in one academic year. The degree requires 30 credit hours of graduate-level work beyond the B.S. degree: 12 hours in mandatory core biomedical engineering courses, six hours in approved core electives and 12 hours in additional approved electives. In addition, students must pass a comprehensive exam.
