Nowadays, astrophysics stands among the most relevant and fast developing fields of research on the borderline of physics and astronomy. Recent and prospective discoveries occur fundamental for our understanding of the Universe and accelerate the progress of both science and related technology.

Study Astrophysics with us!

We offer high-quality education in theoretical as well as observational astrophysics directly in a scientifically active environment. Apart from regular courses, you wil acquire specialistic knowledge and advanced practical skills by working within one of the research teams. Small student-to-staff ratio (SSR) at our Faculty ensures individual approach, engagement, and true student-master relationship. Practice in our own Astronomical Observatory in Białków near Wrocław is one of the program highlights.

You will be taught by highly-qualified international staff that carries out cutting-edge research focused on compact and variable stars, heliophysics, gravitation and cosmology, black holes, astroparticle physics, or gravitational waves.
