Introduction
Masters of Fine Arts (MFA) students learn in the most state of the art facilities rivaling the most advanced production companies globally. You'll hone your talent as a media-maker in six specialties- Producing, Directing, Cinematography, Editing, Production Design, and Sound-while also learning the newest cutting-edge technologies that are changing the professional production process, preparing you for all future forms of media production.
Understanding and hands-on practice distinguish our graduates' program in all mediamaking disciplines; simultaneously, each student pursues specialized interests in years two and three. To qualify for the MFA, each must demonstrate mastery of at least one of six disciplines: writing, producing, directing, cinematography, editing, or sound. In the discipline chosen, the candidate must register for and complete an advanced project and the defined prerequisites.
