Introduction

Tourism and Recreation at the Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw is a place for people who want to combine their passion for learning about the world and people, traveling and taking up physical activity in their professional lives. But does it have a future? Will you find a job? The tourism market in the world is growing at a dizzying pace, creating a characteristic niche for students who, through their education, gain an unquestionable chance of employment in the industry not only in the country. Tourism creates 284 million. jobs in the world, and more than 9% of all employees in the European Union work in positions directly or indirectly related to it. The report "The European Health & Fitness Market 2015" shows that in the case of the leisure industry, Poland is one of the fastest-growing countries in this segment in Europe. Every year the number of fitness club customers increases by 20%, and in 2025 this number may increase to 80 million (report by Europe Active and Deloitte, 2016).

At the Faculty of Tourism and Recreation, you will meet qualified staff who combine research and teaching with their own practical experience and the requirements of employers. Therefore, during his studies, he pays particular attention to the development of soft skills: the ability to work in a team, communication skills, creativity or the ability to make decisions and draw conclusions independently.
