Graduates are familiar with the means of expression and the opportunities of sculpture, as well as its materials and techniques. They are visual artists who possess the technical, professional, aesthetic and social science knowledge based on modern and classical foundations. They are capable of analysing the general and individual social needs in their field. By possessing high-quality knowledge, the skills for self-expression and by keeping up to date with national and international trends in fine arts, graduates are able to express intellectual content in the form of fine art.

In all cases, the international relations coordinator forwards the application materials to the relevant admission committee. If the committee decides that on the basis of the application material the applicant should take an oral exam, the applicant will be interviewed in person or via Skype. A Skype interview will be conducted if the applicant's attendance is impeded and the examination committee offers them the opportunity to be interviewed via Skype. Applicants are given two possible dates for the interview, taking into account any time zone differences.

If the applicant does not have a language proficiency certificate, but on the basis of the oral entrance examination their language proficiency is sufficient to complete the relevant programme, the entrance examination committee may waive this criterion.

If the applicant has a BA in Fine Arts rather than a high school leaving exam at the time of the admission process, they may apply for recognition of their previous studies.

Portfolio with minimum 10 works: five drawings and five actual sculptures made in the past 2-3 years.

The aim of the entrance examination, which is combined with the aptitude test, is to assess the applicant's spatial perception, sense of proportion, colour and shape, acquired visual linguistic expression and visual creativity based on the presentation of their work created at home. Presentation of work created at home: 10 pieces of study (5 drawings, 5 original statues, including a full figure nude drawing), 5 croquis and composition experiment (drawing, sculpture, etc.), five of which may be presented with teacher’s corrections. These should demonstrate the applicant’s professional activity 2-3 years prior to the exam. The aim is to assess the applicants’ ability to shape form, colour and space, their sensitivity in understanding the observed phenomena and in the use of visual linguistic expressions. The committee also examines their individual artistic inventions, their knowledge of art history and contemporary art, as well as their artistic aptitude based on professional (drawing, modelling) and oral examination.

The oral interview covers the following topics:

knowledge of art journals, media, national and international museums,

awareness of universal and contemporary arts

Graduates possess the required knowledge to move onto doctoral (Doctor of Liberal Arts) training.
