Introduction

Graduate programs in biosystems engineering focus on applications of engineering in biological systems, including agricultural engineering, biomedical engineering, bioresource engineering and environmental engineering. The MEng degree is intended for individuals desiring an advanced degree with an emphasis on the practice of engineering.It is course-based and requires a minimum of 30 credit hours of coursework. It does not require the completion of thesis-oriented research.

The Master of Engineering degree is suitable for engineers who have worked in the industry and are returning to school to upgrade their education or strengthen their knowledge in a specific area. The program requires a minimum of 30 credit hours of coursework. There is no thesis requirement.
