The curriculum in International Finance and Economics (IFE) of the Master's degree course in Finance and Markets (LM-16) offers a rigorous education in an international and multi-cultural environment.

Offered by the Department of Economics and Law, the curriculum in International Finance and Economics (IFE) of the master's degree course in "Finance and markets" (Finanza e mercati) - LM-16 offers a rigorous education in an international and multi-cultural environment; the programme IFE aims to develop advanced theoretical and practical competences that will allow graduate students to work in a wide range of international contexts.

The course of study includes, among others, the following topics: International economics, International Marketing, International financial, markets, International investment management, financial management, International trade legislation, Quantitative methods for economics and finance.

The Department of Economics and Law has signed a trilateral agreement with Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (Poland) and the University of Angers (France) for a multiple diploma student exchange program “International Finance Program”.

About IFE

The MA in "Finance and Markets" ("Finanza e Mercati" classe LM-16) curriculum in "International Finance and Economics" is entirely taught in English. All classes will be taught in English. Adequate language skills are required. Introductory English language classes will be offered to ensure proper class participation.

Study plan and teaching activities

The IFE course of study includes, among others, the following topics: International economics, International Marketing, International financial, markets, International investment management, financial management, International trade legislation, and Quantitative methods for economics and finance. Classes will be integrated with Guest Speaker Lectures and Seminars to combine theoretical and operational competencies. The internship is mandatory. In that respect, students will be provided with a list of selected corporate partners.

Multiple degree programme

The students selected to participate in the mobility study programme will earn the following three diplomas:

  • Master's degree in Economics, speciality: International Economy and Finance, issued by the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun.
  • Master's degree in Finance, speciality: Law & Finance, issued by the University of Angers
  • Master's degree in Finance and Markets, speciality: International Finance and Economics issued by the University of Macerata
