The Faculty of Fine, Applied and Performing Arts at the University of Gothenburg is Scandinavia's largest Academy of Arts with an internationally unique range of education and research in all the art forms. Every year, more than 3,000 students get their education at our Faculty in art forms such as music, film, photography, performance, dance, musicals, opera, literary composition, fine art, design and crafts.
Introduction
The Faculty of Fine, Applied and Performing Arts at the University of Gothenburg is Scandinavia's largest Academy of Arts with an internationally unique range of education and research in all the art forms. Every year, more than 3,000 students get their education at our Faculty in art forms such as music, film, photography, performance, dance, musicals, opera, literary composition, fine art, design and crafts. A large part of the teachers' education in visual arts, sloyd, music, drama and dance is also located. You will find most of our programmes and courses in central Gothenburg, but we also have a fantastic campus at Steneby, in Dals Långed.
