Introduction
Italian Studies is the Second Cycle Degree program based on the newest results of cultural analysis developed by the University of Bologna.
ITS Students will have the chance to examine in-depth Literature, History, Visual Arts, Philosophy, and Political and Cultural Thought of one of the most important cultures in the world. The innovative, interdisciplinary approach to Italian culture is strengthened through our important partnerships with foundations and institutions which are leading ones in their field: Fondazione Zeri (research center in the field of Visual Arts), Cineteca di Bologna (the most important Film Restoration and Conservation Lab in Europe), Fondazione Gramsci Emilia-Romagna (research center in the field of Political Thought).

International Talents @Unibo: scholarships for international students a.y. 2024/25
The University of Bologna awards 80 new scholarships to deserving international students who wish to enrol in first, single, second cycle (Bachelor’s or Master’s) degree programmes in the academic year 2024/25.
Scholarships have a value of € 4,500 gross and include a full tuition fee waiver. These grants are awarded for one academic year, based on SAT and GRE test scores and the verification of financial status.
