Introduction
The Educational Leadership program is designed for individuals seeking advanced professional preparation to become school leaders. The program specifically prepares individuals for principal or teacher leadership positions. Program options include a Master of Education (MEd) in Educational Leadership, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership.
The Educational Leadership program offers courses online via Blackboard Collaborate web conferencing in order to serve the entire state of Alaska. These courses meet weekly on a specific day and time in a virtual classroom. Anyone with reliable internet access, a computer, and a microphone can participate in our online courses.
The Educational Leadership program offers a Master's of Education in Educational Leadership (MED-EDLD) for students pursuing a Type B Administrative Certificate endorsement from the State of Alaska.
