Introduction

This MSc aims to help students develop problem-solving skills, acquiring the competencies, abilities, and aptitudes required to operate as managers in companies and consulting firms, or as entrepreneurs.

It offers a learning path where the in-depth study of key corporate functions and processes prepares graduates to take on managerial roles.

The learning process is complemented by the regular presence of outstanding guest speakers, company visits, discussion of ad hoc business cases, meetings with companies on specific issues and lectures by practitioners and instructors with a specialized professional background.

Students graduating from this Master of Science typically pursue management careers at companies of different sizes, operating in various sectors at local or global levels.

Job opportunities may be at small and medium enterprises (SMEs), consultancy firms, venture capitalist firms, entrepreneurial activities and companies operating in symbol-intensive markets.

Program Structure

The first year is dedicated to skill-building in such areas as quantitative methods, performance measurement, marketing, strategy, business law, and organization. Students will learn how to improve their “soft skills” in communication and presentation through a compulsory workshop right after the beginning of the program.

During the second semester of the first year, students will be involved in a challenging Business Game with partner companies.

The second year is entirely dedicated to the internship and the focused educational experience by selecting four courses within one of the majors proposed. Among these, students can choose fashion, Luxury and Made in Italy (entirely in English), if they have a passion for typical Made in Italy industries, or a major in Organizational Change and Consulting, Green Management and Sustainability, Entrepreneurship, SMEs and Growth Strategy, Finance, though these majors include both electives held in Italian and electives held in English.
