If you have an undergraduate degree in accounting and want to make your living investigating white-collar crime, the master’s in forensic accounting at UAlbany can help you achieve your career goals. This graduate degree qualifies you to take the Uniform CPA Exam required of all certified public accountants and prepares you to start earning industry-recognized credentials in fraud examination and financial forensics as soon as you obtain your Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
Through this specialized curriculum, you’ll gain general expertise in public accounting practice while mastering advanced topics covered in the most respected certification exams in forensic accounting. The Association accredits the Master of Science in Forensic Accounting to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). This program is registered with the Division of Professional Education of the State Education Department of New York and meets the 150-hour education requirement for initial CPA licensure.
