Program overview

Our Master of Education allows you to deepen your knowledge in one of the four specializations listed below. It is a perfect marriage of theory, practice and research. Pedagogy specific to education in a minority context occupies a prominent place.

Specializations:

  • School administration (fully online, if desired)
  • School counseling (fully available online, if desired)
  • Inclusive education
  • Language, literacy and curriculum

Types of program:

  • With comprehensive exam (30-credit course): final program that does not allow access to the doctorate
  • With thesis (tuition of 18 credits)

Additional information

You can register at our Summer Institute for an intensive week of classes in July. You may receive credits for this training as part of the master's degree in education.

Our flexible program offers two specializations achievable entirely online: school counseling and school administration. Our program is open to people residing outside of Manitoba, but find out about the conditions of practice in your area.

Study the most up-to-date education theories, learn about research… and climb the salary scale!

Continuing Studies

Certain courses of our master's may count towards obtaining a certificate specializing in special education, school counseling or school leadership. Check the conditions for obtaining the patent before the start of your master's degree.
