Introduction

The master's degree aims to provide students with advanced knowledge in tourism that allows them to assume technical and management positions in companies and public administrations and work as qualified personnel in professional advice, business innovation and academic study in the field of tourism.

From the master's degree, we consider that the enormous complexity of the tourist phenomenon requires professionals with a global and very broad knowledge of the multiple disciplines related to the subject. Advanced knowledge in strategic management, innovation, marketing, territory planning, heritage and culture management, economics and finance and legislation are essential to make decisions effectively and competently in any task related to tourism.

Training objectives

The Master in Tourism Management and Planning (MDPT) has the objective of providing students with advanced knowledge in tourism that allows them to assume technical and management positions in companies and public administrations and work as qualified personnel in professional advice, business innovation and academic study in the field of tourism.

The enormous complexity of the tourism phenomenon requires professionals with a comprehensive and comprehensive knowledge of the multiple disciplines related to the subject. Advanced knowledge in strategic management, innovation, marketing, land planning, economics and finance and legislation are essential to make decisions effectively and competently in any task related to tourism.

The master offers three itineraries: Hotel management (teaching in Spanish), Management of tourist destinations (teaching in Spanish) and Development of tourism products (teaching in English).
