Introduction

The Master in Advanced Materials Science and Engineering - AMASE is an international Master's programme in Material Science and Engineering.

The programme is aimed at students in the field of Materials Science and Engineering and related fields, such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Physical Chemistry. Students study at two out of four universities and study in the local language.

Starting with the Intake 2021, the master's programme will offer again 88 Erasmus Mundus scholarships for the next 4 years.

Mobility

You study at two universities of the Consortium.
1st + 2nd Semester: chosen Entrance University
3rd Semester: chosen Second University.
4th semester: Master’s thesis at Entrance or Second University.

It is not possible to study at two English-teaching universities (MUL, UNIPD and LTU)! 

Admission requirements

Bachelor of Science or similar degree with training in:
Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, basic knowledge of the structure and behaviour of materials

Scholarship

Erasmus+ (2nd year) / DFH funding (2nd year)

Starting in October 2020

Deadline of application:

15.01.2021 (LTU)
15.02.2021 (UdS, UPC, UL, MUL and UNIPD)

Erasmus Mundus scholarships are available for the Intakes 2021 until Intake 2024. If you apply before the mentioned deadline, your application will automatically considered for an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship.
