Introduction
The Master in Strategic Management for Global Business (SMGB) offers an authentic international experience in the heart of Milan and provides young graduates from all over the world with the skills, first-hand experience, and networking necessary to accelerate their entry into the labor market.
Innovative and immersive teaching, in the classroom and in company work plus a bespoke action project or internship are the distinctive elements of this unique program.
Large-scale and multinational companies are involved in the design of the courses and in the provision of scholarships.
Thanks to the collaboration with GiGroup and the HR managers of companies such as Capgemini, EY, Yves Rocher, Endress, and Hauser, Be Shaping the Future and others, the SMGB promotes the development of the soft skills most in demand on the labor market.
Objectives
The Master in Strategic Management for Global Business provides its students with the skills and knowledge required to become innovative and successful managers, entrepreneurs, and consultants of tomorrow's global economy.
Upon completion of the program, students learn how to understand the strategic drivers of the long-term success of a company, how to recognize the challenges and opportunities of the international economy, and how to leverage sustainability and impact management to turn them into sound, innovative, and socially responsible business opportunities.
Through the program, you will:
- Acquire the knowledge and tools to draw up sound and sustainable business and marketing plans for new entrepreneurial initiatives that need to operate locally and compete globally
- Attain the skills to analyze a company using the appropriate metrics, identify strengths and weaknesses, and conceive innovative and effective business development plans, as entrepreneurs or strategic consultants
- Develop the ability to manage complexity in businesses, especially those with global expansion plans.
As a culmination of the program, students are supported in developing a bespoke Action Project (an internship, consultancy project, or the development of your company's business plan), a unique learning-by-doing opportunity that will form the cornerstone of their career.

Scholarships and Funding
Each academic year, the master committee assigns a scholarship to talented students, based on application evaluation. This scholarship opportunity cannot be combined with the early bird discount.

In partnership with GiGroup (a multinational HR services and consulting company that supports the development of the labor market) and LinkedIn (the world's most popular social network for professionals), participants who choose the management track participate in the:
- Coaching and orientation activities by HR to foster the development of soft skills essential to kick-start a brilliant career
- A special focus is given toclassroom interventions on personal branding and CV and cover letter writing.
Orientation and assessment days to foster awareness of the individual student's potential.
In addition, the SMGB Master gives students access to group and one-to-one coaching sessions, mock interviews, speedy speeches, and CV reviews by major companies that are partners of the Master, in order to practice soft skills and get in touch with the HR managers of the companies in the ALTIS network.
Mentorship & Business Plan
Training agents of change is a goal shared by ALTIS and Ashoka, the international association that supports the world's most innovative social entrepreneurs.
Therefore, Ashoka Italy supports SMGB students who want to raise their skills through the entrepreneurial track by means of classroombusiness testimonials from its experts and fellows.
In addition, the 4 deserving students who will be awarded the woman entrepreneurship or impact entrepreneurship scholarships will have access to:
- Accompaniment and mentoring for the declination of their idea into a woman or social impact entrepreneurship;
